“...the Monterey Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival once again
outdid itself in collecting the most amazing talent in the
western poetry and music business..."
So reads the Rope Burns review of the 2007 festival.
Well, it's that time again! Time to saddle up and ride to Old Monterey, where the West really began, for the 10th Annual Monterey Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival! Once again we have nine great shows over three days, our first rate western art & gear sale, Cowboy C/hurch, a Saturday night western dance featuring Stardust Cowboys and our super silent auction. Plus, this year, a Salvation Army benefit showing of the latest J&S Production documentary entitled Houlihan! We're proud to have The Monterey Marriott as our host hotel again, offering special rates to those who make reservations early. Give 'em a call at 831-649-4234. The Portola Plaza Hotel is another great hotel located at the Monterey Conference Center. They can be reached at 831-649-4511. We're also proud to have the support of a great group of sponsors. Without them we couldn't continue to put on the quality event we do. While you're in town, let these fine folks know how much you appreciate what they help us do. If you'd like to join this fine bunch as a sponsor or member, give us a call at 1-800-722-9652. You'll be glad you did!...”
